Our Daily Show welcomes Gloria Gray and Susan Schwegel of St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Alton to discuss the parish’s 27th annual Christmas Bazaar. The event supports the church’s Helping Hands Ministry and includes local vendors, food, raffles, a silent auction, Granny’s Attic sale and bake sale. The guests describe the ministry’s assistance to people in the Godfrey and Alton area and the parish volunteers who organize the bazaar.
Pastor Julie Gvillo explains A Place of Grace, a creative worshiping community that holds retreats and open-house gatherings at Von Dell Gallery & Studios in Wood River. Its spiritual practices include art, music, writing and movement, with activities designed for people of different ages and backgrounds.
The program also features Dr. Hamed Sadeghipour of Associated Physicians Group discussing interventional pain management. He describes evaluating pain and treatment options, including targeted injections and nerve procedures, and explains how pain care may be coordinated with physical therapy.
