Our Daily Show! Ft. Alton Memorial Day Parade Organizers, Beyond the Shelves, and more!

On this Monday Morning in the Heart of the Riverbend, we are joined by Steve and Greg with the East End Improvement Association! The two will be in the studio to fill us in on the history of the Alton Memorial Day Parade which is one of the longest-running in the country. They will discuss the history of the parade, all of its details including the route, and what onlookers can expect. We will also play a few of our past conversations from last year's Memorial Day Show with area veterans, where they discuss the importance of the day, and how they honor their fallen brother. At 10:35, we are talking with Mary Cordes for another edition of Beyond the Shelves! We will be discussing the upcoming events at the community staple, plus all of the summer fun ahead for area residents!
