Wynona D. “Tudy” Dudley, 75, passed away at 4:15 a.m. Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at Eunice C. Smith Home in Alton. Born Dec. 21, 1935 in Franklin County, Ill., she was a daughter of Norman and Lela (Sammons) Curry, who preceded her in death.
She married Ralph Dudley, Jr. Dec. 24, 1952. He survives. Also surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Karen and D. Rick Shewcraft of South Roxana; a son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Beth Ann Dudley of Rosewood Heights; three grandchildren, Stacy Tolbert and her husband Dustin, Michael A. Dudley and Brandon E. Dudley; 2 great grandchildren, Nolan and Layton Tolbert; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Roxie and Donald Hudson of Burknett, Tex. and Lillian Harris of Memphis, Tenn.; and a brother and sister-in-law, Warren and Elsie Curry of Benton, Ill.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 11 at Paynic Home for Funerals in Rosewood Heights, where Rev. Corey Penn will officiate services at 10 a.m. Saturday.
Interment will follow at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
