William Christopher “Chris” Davis, age 60, of Granite City, IL, passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2024, at Gateway Regional Medical Center in Granite City, IL. Chris was born on August 5, 1963, in Paducah, KY, a son of Charline (Burnham) Davis of Glen Carbon, IL, and the late William L. “Bill” Davis.
A graduate of Granite City High School North, Chris also received a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communications from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. He worked for radio stations, in retail, and other industries prior to his retirement. He was an avid Chicago Cubs fan, and he loved watching Judge Judy. Chris also enjoyed volunteering at Granite City A.P.A. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends, whom he loved dearly. Chris will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his loving mother, Chris is survived by his dear sister and brother-in-law, Deirdre “Dedee” and Barry Green of St. Jacob, IL; proud uncle to Austin Green; extended family and friends.
In celebration of his life, a memorial visitation and service will be held at a future date at Unity Baptist Church, Granite City, IL.
