Tristan Stark

Tristan Rene Stark, 10, died at 12:11 a.m., Thursday, January 26, 2012 in the emergency room at Jersey Community Hospital in Jerseyville from injuries sustained in a fire at her home.She was born in Jerseyville on March 5, 2001, and was the daughter of Breanne E. Ferguson & Lucas A. Stark.Tristan was a happy child, and enjoyed attending church on Monday evenings at the Kane Baptist Church on Wednesday evening and Sundy morning at the First Assembly of God, and on top that, she actually enjoyed attending school, where was currently a 5th grade student at Illini Middle School in Jerseyville.  Like most girls her age, Tristan enjoyed listening to the music of Taylor Swift and Justin Bieber.She is survived by her father, Lucas Adam Stark of Kane; her brother, Tayten Allen Stark of Kane; her grandparents, Kim & Gary Benedict of Lake Ozark, Mo., Richard & Tanya Ferguson of Grafton,Carl Wesley Stark of Godfrey, Sandy & Walter Pyle of Kane; her great grandparents, Yvonne Short of Carrollton, James Benedict of Jerseyville; and her great great grandmother, Barbara Oates of Jerseyville; her aunts & uncles, Aleigha Ferguson, and her partner, Katie Smith of Lake Ozark, Mo.,Richard Ferguson, and his partner, Michael Rhodes of Jefferson City., Mo., Kevin & Cindy Morrow of Brighton, Carl & Jennifer Stark of Jacksonville,  Rick & Crystal Burrell of Godfrey, and Jerome "Jay" Meyer of Otterville; along with many cousins, friends, and classmates.She was preceded in death her mother, Breanne Elizabeth Ferguson who passed away in the same fire; her grandmohter, Pattie Stark; and her great grandparents, Kenneth Short, and Connie Benedict.Combined visitation for Tristan and her mother, will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Crawford Funeral Home in Jerseyville.Joint funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m., Thursday at the First Assembly of God in Jerseyville.She will be laid to rest alongside her mother in the Kane Cemetery.Memorials may be given to her family in care of the funeal home.
