Timothy Patrick Johnson, Sr., 64, passed away Sunday, February 4, 2018 of complications of A.L.S. after a four year fight at the Adler Center for Care in Aldie, VA.
Born February 27, 1953 in Jamestown, NY, he was the son of Richard M. and Marilyn (Sandel) Johnson of Oakton, VA.
He had been an insurance examiner for F.E.M.A.
On August 23, 1986 in Rosewood Heights, he married Christi Morgan. She survives.
Surviving in addition to his parents and wife are a son, Timothy Patrick Johnson, Jr. of Fairfax Station, VA; daughter, Kayleigh Juliene Johnson of North Pole, Alaska; mother-in-law, Kay Morgan Militello of East Alton; brother, Rick (Jenette) Johnson of Sterling, VA; sisters, Marsie Johnson of Oakton, VA, Jody (Geoff) McNamara of Elizabeth City, NC; brother-in-law, Chip (Stacey) Morgan of East Alton; nine nieces and nephews; a great niece and great nephew. He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Charles P. Morgan, Sr.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, February 9 at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Bethalto. Father Tom Liebler will be celebrant.
Interment will be in Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
