Thomas John Hellrung, 62, died at 12:32 a.m. Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at his home in Alton. Born September 3, 1961 in Alton, he was the son of Leroy Henry and Mary Rose Irene (Lariviere) Hellrung.
Mr. Hellrung retired as a manager for Aldi Grocery Store. On July 26, 1987 he married the former Sherry Seal in Alton. She survives.
Also surviving is a son, Kenneth David Seal of Alton, one grandchild, Dakota Jane Seal, three brothers, Kenny Hellrung (Alice) of Michigan, David Hellrung (Denise) of Godfrey, and Donald Hellrung (Jane) of Godfrey, and two sisters, Patricia Boehn of Kansas City, MO, and Mary Cunningham (Mike) of Elsah as well as several nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Hellrung, a sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and Duane Grant, and a brother-in-law, David Boehn.
