Sheryl Ann Goodpasture, 64, passed away in her sleep at 12:05 p.m. Sunday, December 24, 2023, at her home in Alton. Born February 12, 1959, in Alton, she was the daughter of Jack M. and Rosemary A. (Pichee) Roberts. Sheryl retired as a Supervisor for the Secretary of State's Office in Edwardsville. Surviving is a daughter, Haley (Doug) Flowers of Brighton and two grandchildren, Ella and Addie Flowers, her son, Dustin Goodpasture of Alton, Former Spouse, Larry Goodpasture of Arizona, three brothers, Steven and Cole Roberts of Brighton and Craig Roberts of Washington D.C., and three sisters, Stacy (Jim) Giddens of Alton, Shannon (Bill) Willhite of Missouri, and Susan (Curt) Robbins of Alton.
She loved spending time with her granddaughters and kids, vacationing in Branson, Missouri, shopping with her siblings and everything about the Christmas Season. A memorial visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Friday, January 5, 2024, at Gent Funeral Home. Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 6, 2024, at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto. In Honor of Sheryl, her family requests that you please wear bright colors in lieu of black. Memorials may be made to Angel Tree Ministries.
