Shannon Sue Fuhr passed on Friday, May 31st 2024 at 10:05 p.m.
Shannon was born May 18th, 1951 in Wood River, IL to the late Otis V. Fuhr, and Nora J. (Evans) Fuhr.
Shannon retired as a Senior Underwriter from Millers First Insurance Companies, where she worked for nearly 42 years.
Surviving are: step-daughters Diane Adams (Rocky), Paula Stice (Terry); grandsons Travis Mundy, Jesse Christoffer (Michaela), Gary Wilson (Sarah); granddaughters Chelci Holden (Ryan), Kelly Rulison, several great grandchildren, fiancé Robert Renden, and life-long best friend Barbara (Mitts) Guiney,
She was preceded in death by her parents, and fiancé of over 20 years, David C Farris.
Visitation will be Tuesday, June 4th from 4 pm to 7 pm at Elias, Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto, IL. Internment will be Wednesday, June 5th at 1 pm at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto, IL. Pastor Larry Rhodes will be officiating.
