Russell Walker, 78, of Hallsville passed away Friday, May 10, 2024, at his home.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, May 16, 2024, at the Valhalla Memorial Park, in Godfrey Illinois.
Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at Fenton-Kendrick Funeral Home in Centralia, Missouri.
Russell was born on June 12, 1945, in Jerseyville, IL, the son of Clinton L. and Opal (Hutchinson) Walker.
Russell is survived by his children, Michele Walker Smith, Rustin Walker and wife Amanda, and Cristina Walker; grandchildren, Ella Smith, Caitlyn Walker, Evan Smith, Shaylee Rainbolt, Clint Walker, Josie Walker, Lylah Walker; a sister, Paulette Miller.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Charles Walker.
Russell could fix anything. He enjoyed working on hot rods, fishing, building model cars/ trains, and was always there to help other people. But most importantly he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He was truly a fun loving and good time guy.
