Ronald Lee Alesandrini, II, 54, passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2024, at Barnes Jewish Hospital.
He was born on February 26, 1970, in Wood River, IL, the son of Ronald Lee and Margaret Mae (Gleason) Alesandrini. Ronald married Carol I. Hyman in Bethalto on August 1, 1987.
Ronald worked in the railroad industry as a forklift driver at Metro East Industries. He enjoyed working on cars, playing video games with his kids, watching UFC and wrestling, and running remote control cars. Ronald loved spending time with his family, especially his grandkids. One of his biggest passions was Halloween. He loved to decorate for it!
Survivors include his wife, Carol; his five children, Tommy Alesandrini of Cottage Hills, Jessica (Zach) Huntsman of Bethalto, Jordan Alesandrini of Alton, Ronald L. (Asher Anderson) Alesandrini, III of Jerseyville, and Isaac Alesandrini of Cottage Hills; two sisters, Stacey Alesandrini of Alton, and Rhonda (Kenny) Stewart of Cottage Hills; three grandchildren, Addison Alesandrini, Zoey Huntsman, and Dean Huntsman; his father-in-law, Jack Hyman of Bethalto.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Shirley Hyman.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2024, from 4 to 7 pm at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto. Services will also be held at the funeral home on Friday, June 14, 2024, at 10 am. Burial will follow at Upper Alton Cemetery.
