Robert Randall "Bert" Klaus, 66, of Carlinville, IL, died on Monday, June 24, 2024. He was born September 5, 1957, in Carlinville, IL to William Klaus & Dolores Kancianich Klaus. He married Teresa Boston Klaus on June 27, 1987 in Carlinville, IL. He was a coal miner. He was also a correctional officer for the Macoupin County Sheriff's Department. Robert enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing and bird watching. He is survived by his spouse, Teresa Klaus of Carlinville, IL, sons, Matthew Klaus of Chatham, IL, Nathan Klaus of Carlinville, IL, brothers, William (Beverly) Klaus of Carlinville, IL, Jonathan (Sara) Klaus of Carlinville, IL and sister, Kathy (Joe) Bernardini of Parker, CO. Robert was preceded in death by his parents. Private family services will be held. Memorials are suggested to donor's choice.
