Robert Eugene Foster, 81, of Bunker Hill, IL, died at Alton Memorial Hospital, Alton, IL on Thursday, August 6, 2026.
He was born November 16, 1944, in Alton, IL. He married Brenda Joyce (Price) Foster on September 17, 1962 in Missouri. She preceded him in death on July 2, 2017.
He was retired after having been an adjuster for Olin Brass in East Alton, IL. Robert enjoyed fishing, hunting, model trains, mowing and gardening.
He is survived by his daughters, Marcia Burjes of Bunker Hill, IL, Tammy (Doug) Huffines of Staunton, IL, grandchildren, Sadie Burjes, Jodie Foster, great-grandchildren, Joella Foster, Grady Foster, sister, Susan Foster of Brighton, IL, sister in law, Cathy Anderson of Belleville, IL, brother in law, Jim (Bonnie) Stevens of California and several nieces and nephews.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Warren and Ina Mae (Crays) Foster, spouse, Brenda Joyce (Price) Foster, son in law, Dale Burjes, brothers, Paul Foster and Phillip "Dean" Foster.
Friends may call on Wednesday, August 12, 2026 at Kravanya Funeral Home in Bunker Hill from 9:00 am until 11:30 am. Funeral services are Wednesday, August 12, 2026 at 11:30 am at Kravanya Funeral Home in Bunker Hill. Burial will be at Bunker Hill Cemetery, Bunker Hill, IL.
