Rita F. Merod, nee Moen, 72, of Belleville, IL, born Friday, February 12, 1954, in Dickenson, ND, passed away Thursday, June 11, 2026 at Eden Village in Glen Carbon, IL.

Rita worked as a Weight Master at Reese Construction.

She was preceded in death by her:

• Husband: Jack T. Merod
• Parents: Clarence and Gertrude, nee Damske, Moen
• Brother: Dean Moen
