Rhonda Krueger

Rhonda Mary Krueger, 73, passed away peacefully at 9:32 a.m. on Sunday, October 26, 2025, at her home after a lengthy illness.

She was born on February 22, 1952, in Carrollton, Illinois, the daughter of Ira Eugene and Dorothy Mae (Closser) Beiser.

She married Gary Krueger on February 6, 1971, at Delhi Baptist Church. He survives.

Rhonda graduated from Jersey Community High School in 1970. She dedicated over 12 years to Walmart, where she worked as a department manager and formed many lasting friendships along the way. After retiring in 1998, she found joy in the simple things she loved most - caring for her family and tending to her garden. A proud farmer’s wife and devoted gardener, she was known for her thriving vegetable garden, strawberry patches, blackberry bushes, and an immaculately trimmed yard filled with flowers that bloomed in every season. Rhonda also cherished traveling with Gary, especially their annual trips to Branson and visits to see their grandchildren down South.

In addition to her husband, Gary, Rhonda is survived by three children: two sons, Benjamin (Lynn) Krueger of Broadheadsville, Pennsylvania and Christopher Curt (Stephanie) Krueger of Godfrey; a daughter, Carisa (Kyle) Cook of Greenfield; seven grandchildren: Devon (Victoria) Krueger, Riley Krueger, Haley Krueger, Alexander Krueger, Brady Cook, Levi Cook, and Cailyn Cook; two great-grandchildren: Valerie Krueger and Henry Krueger; two siblings: Peggy (Jim) Frazier of Brighton, and Gayle Walkington of Godfrey, as well as many extended family members and dear friends.

In addition to her parents, Rhonda was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Beiser; a brother-in-law, Robert Walkington; and a dear cousin, Becky Beiser.
