Patricia Stolze

Alton |

Patricia Stolze, 66, died Friday, May 10, 2024 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.

Born August 15, 1957 in Indianapolis, IN, she was the daughter of Joseph and Alice (Sinclair) McMahon. Patricia was a member of SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church and was involved with the Mustard Seed Peace Project. In 2007 she retired as an X-Ray Technician from St. Anthony’s Hospital. She married Gerald Stolze on December 7, 1979 at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church. He survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Eric Stolze (fiancé Rekha Mohan) of Los Angeles, CA, and Andrew and Megan Stolze of Alton; two brothers, John McMahon of Winfield, MO and Daniel McMahon of Alabama, and two sisters, Mary Melaga of Peoria, IL and Maureen Wilson of Edwardsville, IL. Her family takes great pride in the fact that she will live on through her heroic donation of organs to those in need. She had never met a stranger in life, so it’s fitting that she would save the lives of those she had never met.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until time of memorial service at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at Gent Funeral Home in Alton. Memorials may be made to the Mustard Seed Peace Project. Online guestbook and information may be found at www.gentfuneralhome.com
