Michael L. Carmack, 75, passed away at 5:48pm on Sunday, June 9, 2024, at his residence with his family by his side. He was born on May 9, 1949, in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, the son of the late Bobby “Sonny” and Grace (Shea) Carmack. He married the former Marsha Logsdon on July 7, 2007, in Alton, and she survives. Other survivors include his children: Shelly Buehler of Hammond, Louisiana, Tiffani Carmack of O’Fallon, Illinois, Tara McQueen of O’Fallon, Illinois, Alexis Carmack of Belleville, Brandi (Terry) Ross of Freeburg, Nikki (Derrick) Vernardos of Granite City, Courtney Rose of East Alton, Shawn (Michelle) Graves of O’Fallon, Illinois, Michael Carmack of Granite City, several grandchildren, several great grandchildren, his siblings: Debbie Carmack of Troy, Illinois, Kimberly Robins of Iberia, Missouri, Roy (Layla) Carmack of Iberia, Missouri, Kevin (Heather) Carmack of Iberia, Missouri, his step mother: Carolyn Carmack of Iberia, Missouri, many nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step father: James Lewis, a step son: Marcus Rose, a step daughter: Brittani Michael, two grandchildren: Dustin Graves, Zane Michael, two brothers: Bobby Carmack, and Bryan Carmack.
In accordance with his wishes, cremation rites will be accorded.
Memorials are suggested to Residential Hospice and will be accepted at the funeral home.
