Maureen Jean Millidge, 93, passed away on July 17, 2026 with her family by her side.
Maureen was born on July 8, 1933 in Bristol, England to William Alfred and Besse (Hawk) Done.
She married the love of her life, Ralph Millidge on May 22, 1954 in Bristol, England. He preceded her in death on December 9, 2020.
Maureen enjoyed sewing, machine embroidery, knitting and crocheting. Her greatest joy was cooking for her family. She did volunteer work for Christian Hospital Northeast, was the secretary of John Knox Presbyterian Church in Florissant, Mo. and a secretary at the Odeon theater in England. She was also a licensed beautician.
Maureen loved her family dearly and is survived by four daughters and sons-in-law, Terry (Steve) Guerrant of St. Peters, MO, Carole (Craig) Hostetler of Florissant, MO, Maureen (Doug) Vigneau of Alton, IL, Debbie (Ken) Atkins of Brighton, IL; son and daughter-in-law, Paul (Sherry) Millidge of Wentzville, MO; twenty-two grandchildren, Christine (Travis), Michelle, Sarah (Ray), Cara, Georgeta (Mike), Andreea, Mihaela (Jarred), Simona, Crysta, Stephen (Tara), Jessica (Josh), Johnathan (Ann), Celeste (Eric), Alexa, Elyse (Ray), Eric (Melissa), Stephanie (Jason), Olivia (Shayne), Rachel (Matt), Spencer, Leah (Chris), Josh (Christy), Jaimie (Brenton), Josh (Emily), and Jodi (Kyle); forty great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, her parents, three sisters and one brother.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 23, 2026 from 1:00 pm until the time of service at 3:00 pm at Elias, Kallal, and Schaaf Funeral Home in Godfrey, IL.
Cremation rites will follow
