Maryalice C. Cooper, 41, of Gillespie, IL, died at her residence on Tuesday, April 28, 2026 at 10:14 am.
She was born June 15, 1984 in Thailand to Avery Cooper & Patricia Ann Pimentel Cooper. She worked for Illinois Valley.
She is survived by her brother, Ted (Shannon) Cooper of Carlinville, IL, nephews, Orian Hoffman, Logan Keils, Gabe Melchert, cousin, Kristy Crader of Overland, MO, dog, Buddy, cat, Punkie and her Illinois Valley family. Maryalice was preceded in death by her parents.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, May 29, 2026 at Gillespie Civic Center from 2pm - 6pm. Memorials are suggested to Illinois Valley Economic Development Corp Client Activity Funds, Adopt A Pet or HSHS St Francis Infusion Center.
