Margaret Ann Zumwalt, 64, of Wilsonville, IL, died at LakeSide Heath and Rehab Center, Carlinville on Saturday, June 13, 2026 at 5:25 am.
She was born December 9, 1961, in Portsmouth, VA to James A. Steward Sr. & Mary Ann Hohnsbehn Steward.
She married Wesley R. Zumwalt on February 18, 2000 in Carlinville, IL. She was a CNA. Margaret loved children, pets and crafts.
She is survived by her spouse, Wesley R Zumwalt of Wilsonville, IL, children, Mary Ann (Jessie) Parish of Livingston, IL, George (Alicia) Steward of Mt. Olive, IL, grandchildren, Travis, Caleb, Paxton, Elizabeth, Cora, sisters, Pamlia Steward of Gillespie, Shirley Steward of Litchfield, IL, brothers, James A (Leslie) Steward Jr. of Alton, IL, Charles E (Tammy) Steward of Medora, IL.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents and brother, George Steward.
Visitation will be on Monday, June 22, 2026 at Gillespie Cemetery, Gillespie from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm. Burial will be at Gillespie Cemetery.
