Lonnie W. Patton, 74, of Bunker Hill, IL, died at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, MO on Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at 4:40 am.
He was born January 16, 1949, in Bloomfield, MO to Charles A. Patton & Helen M. Layton Patton. He married Vicki Boner Patton.
He was a backtender for Jefferson Smurfitt and worked in maintenance at SIUE. Lonnie was a veteran of the US Air Force after having served in Vietnam. He loved camping, fishing, metal detecting, photography, and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his mother, Helen M. Patton of Bunker Hill, IL, wife, Vicki Patton of Bunker Hill, IL, children, Scott (Stacy) Patton of Mt. Vernon, IL, Charles "Chuck" (Debbie) Patton of Portage Des Sioux, MO, grandchildren, Kayla Patton, Kelsey Patton, Greg Hahn, step-grandchildren, Sophia Zieglar, Bella Zieglar, brother, Ronnie (Joann) Patton of Plainview, IL, sisters, Audrey (Ron) Ambrose of Bunker Hill, IL and Pat Olds of Bunker Hill, IL.
Lonnie was preceded in death by his father and brother, Mike Patton.
Friends may call on Saturday, June 10, 2023, at Woodburn Bible Church, Woodburn from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm. Memorial service will be on Saturday, June 10, 2023, at Woodburn Bible Church at 4:00 pm. Memorials are suggested to Woodburn Bible Church.
