Judith "Judy" C. Gaffney born July 9, 1948 earned her angel wings on Monday, January 8, 2024 surrounded by those who loved her most.
She was born in Eddyville, Kentucky the daughter of Bill and Elta (Mitchuson) Heater.
Judy married Francis "Butch" Gaffney on March 26, 1986 in Godfrey, IL.
She enjoyed watching the hummingbirds, shopping, and gathering with her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Butch; mother, Elta; children, Shane (Holly) Barton, William "Billy" Barton Jr., and Laurie Kraushaar; and grandchildren, Dustin Kraushaar, Ashley Kraushaar, Shane Barton Jr., Joseph Anders, and Kadence Anders.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, LeAnn Barton; father, Bill Heater; brothers, Joe Gentry, Mike Heater, and David Heater; and son-in-law, Robert Kraushaar.
Her family was her entire world, as she was theirs - she will be greatly missed.
Cremation rites were accorded. There are no services scheduled at this time.
