Judith A. Tyler, 77, passed away at 5:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 18, 2019, at Jerseyville Manor in Jerseyville.

Born Apr. 11, 1942 in Alton, she was a daughter of Henry and Florence 'Henrietta' (Hayes) Doerr.

She married David T. Tyler Dec. 29, 1973 in Bethalto. He preceded her in death Jan. 26, 2002.

She owned and operated Tyler's Professional Cleaning service for 17 years, retiring in 2002. She had been a member of the Wood River Moose Lodge. She enjoyed traveling with her sisters, and also enjoyed her husband's hot rod and drag racing career.

Survivors include three daughters, Traci (Jim) Delashmett of St. Charles, Missouri, Frankie (John) Stogsdill of Warrenton, Missouri, and Tara (Jeff) Demond of Cape Coral, Florida; three sons, Wade Tyler of St. Louis, Missouri, Mike (Jessica Baer) Tyler and Chad (Barbie) Tyler, all of Rosewood Heights; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Linda Barth of Alton and Marilyn (Brett) Smalley of Mt. Olive, Illinois.

Visitation will be Saturday, Dec. 21 at Paynic Home for Funerals from 9 a.m. until services begin at 10:30 a.m.

Burial will follow at Valhalla Memorial Park in Godfrey.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the American Cancer Society.
