Jeanne Elizabeth Martin, 74, died on Monday, June 24, 2024 at Alton Memorial Hospital. She was born May 13, 1950 at Clark Air Force Base in Luzon, Philippines. Jeanne was the daughter of the late Vernon and Betty (Edwards) Loesing. She worked for many years as a legal assistant for The Law Office of David Horn. On December 17, 1986, in St. Louis, MO, she married Jack Martin Jr., and he survives. Also surviving are one stepson Josh Martin of Wentzville, MO, one stepdaughter, Jenna Pendry (Ben) of Sylva, North Carolina, four step grandchildren, Jackson Martin, Kennedy Martin, Branch Pendry, and Jacqueline Pendry, one brother, John Loesing and two sisters, Lee Ann Hatcher and Patricia Delashmitt. No services are scheduled at this time. Memorials may be made to the 5A’s Animal Shelter. Gent Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
