Glenda Hester

Glenda F. "Dado" Hester, 88, of Bunker Hill, IL, died at Villa Rose Senior Living Community, Bethalto, IL on Wednesday, June 5, 2024.  She was born December 14, 1935, in Trenton, KY to Henry Clay Green & Florence O. Armstrong Green.  She married Royce H. Hester on May 17, 1959 in Trenton, KY.  He preceded her in death on July 17, 2020.  She was a homemaker.  Glenda was a member of the Country Bible Church.  She is survived by her children, Melinda (Jeffrey) Bertels of Dorsey, IL, Michael (Laurie) Hester of Bunker Hill, IL, Millie Hausman of Lee's Summit, MO, grandchildren, Ashley (Clayton) Gill, Jordan Bertels, Shelby Hausman, Alec (fiancée, Katie Hartsock) Hester, Clay Hausman, Paige Hester, great-grandchildren, Jack Wilcox, Vivien Wilcox.  Glenda was preceded in death by her parents, spouse, sister, Juanita Price and son in law, Matt Hausman.  Friends may call on Monday, June 10, 2024 at Kravanya Funeral Home in Bunker Hill from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm.  Funeral services are Monday, June 10, 2024 at 12:00 pm at Kravanya Funeral Home in Bunker Hill.  Burial will be at Bunker Hill Cemetery, Bunker Hill, IL.  Memorials are suggested to Country Bible Church.  Anyone wishing to send an online condolence may do so at www.kravanyafuneral.com.  Kravanya Funeral Home, Bunker Hill, IL is in charge of the arrangements.
