Eunice Foutch, 95, passed away on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at 11:22 pm, at Alton Memorial Hospital.
She was born on May 15, 1930, in Edwardsville, IL, the daughter of Herbert and Freida (Gehrs) Blume. Eunice married Bernard J. Foutch in St. Charles, MO, on May 8, 1947. He preceded her in death on June 21, 2015.
Eunice was a faithful member of Godfrey Church of Christ, and she loved to read the bible. Her favorite hobbies included puzzles, playing word games, and playing the piano. Eunice loved to go to the beauty shop to get pampered and her hair styled. She was a Cub Scout Leader for her sons. Most of all, Eunice loved to spend time with her friends and family.
Survivors include her children, James (Katherine) Foutch of East Alton, Gary (Melody) Foutch of South Roxana, and Ron (Carole) Foutch of Lake in the Hills, IL; son-in-law, Greg Donelson of East Alton; grandchildren, James D Foutch, Jason Foutch, Josh Foutch, Jared Foutch, Janet Luke, Katie Foutch, Robyn Burgess, Aryn Hanebrink, Luke Hanebrink, Jamie Donelson, Zachary Donelson, Chad McClellan, and Caitlin McClellan; and several great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, and husband, Bernard, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Lesa Donelson; and two brothers, Milton Blume and Kenny Blume.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 26, 2026, from 4 to 7 pm, at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto, where funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at 1 pm. Jason Wright will officiate.
Burial will follow at Marine Cemetery in Marine, IL.
