Erma Louise Sprong Fuller Evans

Erma Louise Sprong Fuller Evans died 12-7-2018 at Jerseyville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Jerseyville Illinois.  

She was born September 11, 1931 in Hardin, Illinois. She was the daughter of Frank G. Sprong and Inez L. Johnson of Hardin Illinois. She was the eldest of 9 children. Erma was an know for her massive gardens and beautiful farm outside of Kampsville.

She was a great mother and grandmother. She loved spending her time crocheting and cooking for her family. Erma was a devoted house wife and filled her time with family and friends, horseback riding, camping, and fishing. Loved teaching her grandchildren how to live and care for a farm and the animals that lived there.

After Erma and Raymond moved to Carrollton in 2001 she spent most of her time taking care of her grandchildren and great grandchildren and planting her roses. She loved her flowers especially her roses. 

She was proceeded in death by her parents Frank and Inez Sprong, 1st husband Donald S. Fuller in May 12, 1957, second husband Raymond H. Evans in August 3, 2014. Brothers John Sprong, Richard Sprong, and sisters Katherine Ferguson and Melba Daker. Also one Grandson David Dwayne Whitehead. 

Survived by three brothers, Robert and Vera Sprong of Walkerville,  Joseph and Velma Sprong of Hamburg, Jerome and Lois Sprong of Mepen, One Sister Betty Webb of Hardin. Four daughter Mary (Fuller) and Leo Grummel of Carrollton, Donna (Fuller) and David Whitehead of Carrollton, Christina (Fuller) and Steve Briles of Carrollton, and Roberta Evans of Arkansas. Nine Grandchildren and 18 Great Grand children.
