Dixie Lamparter

Dixie Ann Lamparter, 83, of Gillespie, IL, died at Gillespie Health and Rehab Center on Saturday, August 15, 2026 at 9:25 pm.

She was born October 26, 1942, in South Roxana, IL to Earl Bryant & Rosetta Hagen Bryant. She married George Lamparter. He preceded her in death on October 12, 2016.

Dixie was a member of the Gillespie Methodist Church and the Ladies Auxiliary VFW of Gillespie. Dixie was active in the Joyful Angels.

She is survived by her children, Will Lehotz of Benld, IL, Keith (Susie) Hamilton of Anchorage, AK, Lisa (Bob) Tucker of Gillespie, IL, grandchild, Keith (Amanda) Tucker, siblings, Mitch (Sue) Bryant of Gillespie, IL, David Bryant of Gillespie, IL, Kevin Bryant of Wood River, IL, Sandy (William) Weaver of Post Falls, ID, Sharon Bryant of Benld, IL.

Dixie was preceded in death by her parents, spouse, son, John Lehotz and grandson, Cameron Tucker. No public services will be held. Burial will be at Gillespie Cemetery, Gillespie, IL. Memorials are suggested to Joyful Angels at UCB.
