Dennis Paul Franklin, 62, passed away Saturday, July 18, 2020.
Born Dec. 24, 1957 in St. Louis, MO, he was a son of Finnis E. 'Bud' and Joan Joyce (Finnegan) Franklin.
Dennis owned and operated his own HVAC repair business, and in his spare time, his passion was fishing.
Survivors include his children, Megan Franklin of Fairview Heights, IL, Elise Cobb of O'Fallon, MO, Trisha Hall, Tim Bakula, and T.J. Bakula, all of St. Louis County; several grandchildren; a sister, Patricia Chenot of East Alton; a brother, Mark Franklin of Highland, IL; 2 nieces, Amy Franklin and Laura Roberson; and 2 nephews, Mark Franklin, Jr. and David Chenot; and many other extended family.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Donna (Abegg) Bakula Franklin.
A private family service will be held.
