Dennis Raymond Hogan, age 74, of Granite City, IL, born on November 5, 1951, in East St. Louis, IL, died on Sunday, September 13, 2026.
Dennis was a former supervisor at the Dial Warehouse Distribution Center in Edwardsville, IL. He was an avid golfer. He also enjoyed astronomy, nature and traveling the country in his RV. Dennis was a member of the Sierra Club, conservation causes, and he just enjoyed being outdoors.
Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Francis Hogan and Mary Margaret Stacey; his siblings, Ronald Hogan, Brian Hogan and Ann Hogan; his nephew, Joseph Hogan; and grandniece, DeDe Barron.
He is survived by his sons, Bradley Hogan and Matt Hogan of Granite City, IL; his brothers, Raymond (Rose) Hogan of Cobden, IL, and Mike Hogan of Belleville, IL; his sister-in-law, Karen Hogan of Freeburg, IL, and his former wife, Cynthia Purkaple of Granite City, IL. Dennis is also survived by loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd., Fairview Heights, IL.
Funeral Service will be held on Monday, September 28, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd., Fairview Heights, IL.
Interment will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Belleville, IL.
