Debra Rose

Debra Rena Rose, 62, of Bunker Hill, IL, died at Carlinville Rehabilitation and Health Care Center, Carlinville, IL on Sunday, September 5, 2021. 

She was born September 14, 1958, in Alton, IL to Oliver G. "Ollie" Schwallenstecker & Judith "Judy" (Price) Schwallenstecker.  She married Herbert E. Rose on July 9, 1988, in Bunker Hill, IL.  She was a retired school bus driver.  Debra was a member of the 20th Century Club of Bunker Hill, IL, and Birthday Club of Bunker Hill, IL.  She was helpful in bringing the Rams to St. Louis.  She was instrumental in organizing the teams South Macoupin Mustangs and branching to Piasa and Staunton. 

She is survived by her mother Judy Schwallenstecker of Bunker Hill, IL, spouse, Herbert Rose of Bunker Hill, IL, children, Brett (Jayme) Rose of Girard, IL, Austin Rose of Bunker Hill, IL, Cameron (Amy) Rose of Wood River, IL, grandchildren, Charlotte Rose, Sawyer Jo Rose, another granddaughter on the way, siblings, Pam (Dave) Monetti of Bunker Hill, IL and Jim (Tina) Schwallenstecker of Bunker Hill, IL. 

Debra was preceded in death by her father.
