Daniel W. Davis, 56, passed away 5:32 a.m. Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at his residence.
Born in Wood River on March 17, 1958, he was the son of James and Katie (McPeak) Davis.
In 1980, he married the former Sherry Smith. She survives.
In addition to his parents and wife, he is survived by two sons, Joseph (Kimberly) Meador of Elsah, Daniel Davis of South Roxana; two daughters, Misty Davis of Wood River, Brandy Hanneken of East Alton; seven grandchildren, Dylan, Joey, Conner, Dawson, Alexandria, Trevor and Drew; two brothers, Mike Davis of East Alton and Clay (Alicia) Davis of Godfrey.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Monday at the United Presbyterian Church, 2550 Rock Hill Road, Wood River, where services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday. Rev. Julie Gvillo will officiate.
Burial will follow in Wanda Cemetery in South Roxana.
Memorials may be made to the United Presbyterian Church.
