Daniel Hale Yates, 36, passed away Saturday, September 1, 2018 in St. Louis.

Born in Alton on February 16, 1982 the son of James and Stephanie (Ferguson) Yates.

He is survived by his father; sister, Mary Yates; two daughters, Paige and Sofia; grandmother, Mary Ferguson of Hartford; and several aunts,uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother and grandfather, Marlin Ferguson.

Arrangements were handled by Marks Mortuary in Wood River.
