Connie Mae Oster, 77, passed away, 9:30 a.m. Monday, May 1, 2017 at St. Louis University Hospital.
Born in Peoria on February 19, 1940, she was the daughter of John and Grace (Wood) Worthy.
Connie had worked in the packing and processing departments for several meat companies including Krey Meats, Max German Quality Meats in St. Louis and Luhr Meats in Alton.
She is survived by her longtime companion, Larry Bollinger; sons, Terry Oster, Sr. and Tracy Oster; seven grandchildren, Valerie Oster, Tara Oster, Andrea Oster White, Terry Oster, Jr., Stephinia Durham, Tracy L. Oster Wallace, Timothy Oster; fourteen great grandchildren; brother, Jack Worthy; and sister, Norma Brown.
Visitation will be from 4p.m. until time of service at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Marks Mortuary in Wood River.
Cremation services will be accorded following the service. Burial will be private at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
