Bonnie Susan Williams, 59, of Piasa, passed away on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, after a courageous yearlong battle with cancer.
She was born on April 28, 1966, in Milwaukee, WI, the daughter of John and the late Margaret (Zarimba) Bushman.
Bonnie married Parker Williams in 1988. He survives. She is also survived by her son Parker Williams of Piasa; three grandchildren Parker Jr., Preston, and Kyllin Williams; one brother John (Kristin) Bushman; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She worked as an office clerk for Alton Memorial Hospital. She enjoyed fishing and swimming with her grandchildren, enjoyed beading crafting and thrift shopping for any bargain she could find, but her real love was her passion for horses. Her favorite being the American Quarter Horse. She loved with all her heart raising, riding, showing and breeding them.
Per her wishes, cremation rites have been accorded and entrusted to Anderson Family Funeral Home in Brighton. No services are scheduled at this time, with a Celebration of Life to be held at a later date.
