Bonnie Bradley

Bonnie June Bradley, 62, passed surrounded by family at 4:20 p.m. Wednesday, September 24, 2025 at Alton Memorial Hospital.  Born June 1, 1963 in Alton, she was the daughter of Robert Ernest and Elizabeth Ann “Betty” (Simenot) Sanders. 

Bonnie was very knowledgeable about hardware and tools and had worked for St. Peters Hardware in Alton.  She was a very passionate and dedicated animal lover and worked for Club Paws in Alton. 

On September 7, 1985 she married Rex Bradley in Lima, Ohio and they were married for 40 years. 

Along with her husband, Bonnie is survived by two sisters, Beverly Berry of East Alton and Flo Dugger Sanders of Alton, two brothers, Robert “Bobby” Sanders (Toni Brown) of Jerseyville and Glenn Sanders of Alton, several nieces and nephews including a special niece, Faith Sanders of Alton. 

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her twin brother, Thomas Sanders and two sisters, Lydia Bowen and Debbie Lemmon. 

Visitation will be from 1:00-3:00 p.m. Sunday, September 28, 2025 at Gent Funeral Home in Alton.

Memorials may be made to the 5A’s Animal Shelter in Alton or Hope Animal Rescues in Godfrey.
