Betty Bieker

Betty J. Bieker, 89, of Golden Eagle Illinois passed away Monday morning, January 19, 2026, at Jerseyville Manor. Betty was born on May 4, 1936, in Troy Alabama to the late John and Laura (Harris) Pittman.

Betty married Leonard “Gene” Bieker (deceased) on April 7, 1956, in Eufaula, Alabama.

She was a homemaker, a member of the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Brussels, and Brussels American Legion auxiliary. She enjoyed playing cards and bingo, socializing with friends and spending time with her family.

Betty is survived by three sons, Anthony (Nancy) Bieker, Richard (Kerry) Bieker and Don (Jo Ann) Bieker. Five grandchildren, Dylan Bieker, Kyle Bieker, Emily Stichling, Sarah, Wilcoxen and Ben Formhals and six great grandchildren Matthew Bieker, Jayden Lasater, Grace Lasater, Sophia Lopez, Jacob Wilcoxen and Edward E. Bieker “Gene”.

In addition to her parents, she has proceeded in death by three sisters, two brothers and a grandson, Allen Stellbrink.

Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 28 and January 29, 8:00 to 9:30 a.m. at the Gress, Kallal, and Schaaf funeral home in Brussels, Illinois.

Funeral mass will be at 10:00 a.m. January 29, 2026, at St. Mary’s Church in Brussels, Illinois.

Burial will follow at Saint Mary’s cemetery Brussels, Illinois.

Memorials can be made to the Brussels Legion auxiliary or family’s choice.
