Barbara Beisman

Barbara G. Beisman, born on December 7, 1948, passed away peacefully on July 30, 2025.

She was a dedicated medical worker whose career spanned from being an ambulance driver to specializing in phlebotomy. Barbara was known for her quick wit and hard-working nature, embodying the spirit of dedication in both her professional and personal life.

Family time was of the utmost importance to Barbara, and she cherished every moment spent at the farm. Memories of making apple and peach pies and the beloved "yip-yip chili sauce" highlight her love for family traditions and connections. Barbara took great pride in raising her family and balancing her career with her responsibilities at home, making it one of her proudest accomplishments.

Barbara had a vibrant personality and enjoyed various pastimes, including trips to the riverboat casino, where her adventurous spirit shone brightly.

She is survived by her son, Keith (Jayme) Beisman; her daughter, Michelle (Shawn) Motley; and her grandchildren, Kelsey (Zach) Porter, Trenton (Kaitlin) Marshall, Tyler (Carly) Marshall, Grayce Beisman, and Ryker Beisman. Barbara was also a loving great-grandmother to Makayla, Easton, Madeline, and Charles; and brother Ronald (Joyce) Maag.

Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Beisman, and her parents, Raymond W. Maag and Violet M. Maag. She will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Visitation will be Saturday, August 2, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. at Gress, Kallal, and Schaaf Funeral Home in Hardin, IL.

Burial will follow at Wilson Cemetery in Batchtown, IL.
