Anthony Michael Stewart, 31, passed away July 11, 2026.
Born December 15, 1994 in Alton.
On June 21, 2024 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Alton, he married Molly Mills.
From the moment Anthony was born, he was a force to be reckoned with. Anthony was ALWAYS the loudest in the room and no matter what you were talking about, he had to have the last word.
Anthony had the biggest heart, the biggest smile, and the loudest voice. He was proud to be a husband and father.
On May 16, 2024, Anthony Michael Lee Stewart was born, this was one of the best days of his life. He loved being a 'daddy' and decided they needed to add one more. Riley William Eugene Stewart was born on December 21, 2025.
While our time with Anthony has been cut short, we will always have a guardian angel watching over us.
Anthony is survived by his wife Molly and sons, Anthony and Riley; his mother and step-father, Mandi and Chad Elfgen; father, Jerry Stewart (Eyvette); grandparents, Lois and Anthony Anzalone, Patricia Stewart, Marty and Sharon Byrd, Tracey and Kevin Sankey, Chuck and Karen Hohlbauch, and Bob Fleming; brothers, Nickolas Beem (Ellery), Evan Beem (Bailey), and Kyler Elfgen; sisters, Chelsea Stewart (Charles), Lauren Stewart; in-laws, Leslie Mills (Todd), Bobby Mills; brother-in-law, Spencer Mills (Blair), and Maggie Mills (Tommy); and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends. Anthony never met a stranger.
The family would like to extend thanks to everyone for all of the prayers and support during this time.
Private services will be held.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions in his memory be sent to 1st MidAmerica Credit Union in care of Molly Mills.
