Anita Vaughn

Anita Mae Vaughn, 79, of Bunker Hill, IL, died at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center, Mattoon, IL on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at midnight.  She was born December 22, 1942, in Kansas City, MO to Kenneth Neale Webb & Florence Estelle Sawyer.  She was raised by her aunt, Eileen Webb.  She married Larry Dean Vaughn on May 4, 1983 in Columbia, MO.  He preceded her in death on December 5, 2020.  She was a veteran of the US Army.  She was a homemaker.  Anita was funny, kind, strong and interested in knowing of the happenings of the world.  She led a Christian world and loved Jesus.  She is survived by her sister, Carol Denison, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  Anita was preceded in death by her parents, aunt that raised her, spouse, siblings, Maynard and Mary.  Friends may call on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at Kravanya Funeral Home in Bunker Hill from 11:30 am until 12:30 pm.  Funeral services are Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at 12:30 pm at Kravanya Funeral Home, Bunker Hill.  Burial will be at Upper Alton Cemetery, Alton, IL.  Anyone wishing to send an online condolence may do so at www.kravanyafuneral.com.
