The Griffins' Zoe Oller was the leading scorer in a regional semifinal game against Litchfield.

LITCHFIELD - Father McGivney Catholic used a strong overtime effort to pull away from host Litchfield and secure a 51-45 overtime win in the Litchfield Regional, advancing to the final against Hillsboro.

Father McGivney's Zoe Oller paced her team with a 16-point performance, a key to the victory. Teammate Peyton Ellis added 10 points.

McGivney improved to 26-6 and will face Hillsboro in Thursday night’s final at 7 p.m.

McGivney led 20-16 at halftime, but Litchfield rallied to force overtime by tying the game 41-41 at the end of regulation. The Griffins then outscored the Purple Panthers 10-4 in the extra period to clinch the victory.

Hillsboro advanced by defeating Staunton 44-34.

Litchfield finished its season 16-16. Hillsboro is now 20-10, while Staunton ended its season 24-7.
