Waltonville dominated early, limiting Highland to just three points in the first quarter and building a 12-3 lead. The visiting team extended its advantage to 30-15 by halftime.
Highland mounted a comeback in the third quarter, outscoring Waltonville 18-9 to narrow the gap to 39-33 heading into the final period. However, Waltonville pulled away in the fourth quarter, outscoring Highland 22-16 to seal the win.
Highland’s top scorers were Harrison Scholl with 15 points and Trent Kronk with 12. Waltonville was led by Gage Paterson, who scored 20 points, and Jagger Mayville, who added 19.
