For her dedication, Taylor Burns is a Student of the Month for Althoff Catholic High School.

Burns, a senior, has been involved in the school’s theater program and Art Club since her freshman year. She has also participated in the concert band and liturgical choir. It’s important to Burns to create and collaborate with her peers to put on a good show, and her talents speak for themselves.

Burns participated on the bowling and scholar bowl teams. She is also a member of Model UN and French Club. It takes a lot of hard work to balance all of these extracurriculars with her schoolwork, but she does so gracefully.

Beyond the classroom, Burns works with kids in an aftercare program. She also builds and installs computers with Computron Inc. and volunteers as an altar server.

In her free time, she enjoys crochets and doing beadwork. She also plays several instruments, including saxophone.

She has big plans for the future, and her teachers and loved ones can’t wait to see what she goes on to do.

“I am planning on pursuing a degree in physics and I hope to attend Colorado University in Boulder in the fall,” she shared.

Congratulations to Taylor for this recognition from Althoff Catholic High School!
