
JERSEY - Jersey senior Abe Kribs is leading his basketball team with strong performances as they prepare to face Triad on Friday night, Jan. 9, 2026. Kribs, a 6-foot-3, 170-pound forward, is averaging 11 points and 6.5 rebounds per game, both team highs, along with 2.7 assists and 2.1 steals per contest. He is also shooting 63 percent from the free-throw line.

Kribs is a Sparklight Male Athlete Of The Month for the Jersey Panthers varsity basketball squad.
Matt Murphy, head coach of the Jersey boys basketball team, praised Kribs’ impact on the squad. “Abe Kribs is a three-year starter. He brings poise and leadership to our young team.
"I'm really excited to watch him as he continues to take his next step as a basketball player for us this year,” Murphy said.
Jersey will look to build on Kribs’ contributions as they take on Triad in the upcoming matchup and the rest of the season ahead in 2026.
