Ava Cherry was a catalyst for the Shells and had four hits and scored five runs for the Shells as Roxana scored four runs in both the first and second innings.

Roxana added two runs in the third, four in the fourth, and two in the sixth.
Gibault scored two runs in the second inning, four in the fourth, and one in the sixth.
Josie Brannon, Lilli Ray, Martin, Schuyler and Pochek each had two hits for Roxana.
Roxana is 2-0 and will host Staunton at 4:30 p.m. on March 23, then Civic Memorial on March 25.
Roxana opened the season with a 13-2 victory over Father McGivney Catholic.
