MARQUETTE CATHOLIC 31, PIASA SOUTHWESTERN 21: Marquette took a 16-8 halftime lead over Southwestern, then went on to win at Southwestern's gym.
Allie Weiner led the Explorers with 12 points, while Delaney Ortman came up with six points.
Marquette is now 7-2, while the Piasa Birds go to 7-3.
COLUMBIA 47, GRANITE CITY 42: In the semifinals of the Waterloo Gibault Catholic Candy Cane Classic, Columbia held off Granite City to advance to the final on Friday night.
Jailynn Rae Woods led the Warriors with 20 points, while Malone Grady added 12 points.
The Eagles are now 6-3, while Granite goes to 6-4.
HAZELWOOD CENTRAL 70, EAST ST. LOUIS 22: Hazelwood Central, from north St. Louis County, led at the break 40-10, and went on to win over East Side on the road.
Javonni Winters led the Flyers with nine points, while Maulysia Sewell scored seven points.
The Hawks are now 5-2. while East Side goes to 2-6.
In another game played on Wednesday, Breese Mater Dei Catholic defeated Waterloo 59-52.
