BOYS BASKETBALL
FATHER MCGIVNEY CATHOLIC 67, MULBERRY GROVE 34: McGivney went on the road to take the win over Mulberry Grove.
Carson Barone led the Griffins with 17 points, while Henry Willenborg came up with 14 points, and Landon Hall added 12 points.
McGivney is now 6-2, while the Aces slip to 1-6.
EAST ST. LOUIS 60, MCCLUER NORTH 50: East St. Louis took a 28-15 lead into the half, and survived a McCluer North, of Florissant, Mo., third-quarter rally to take the win at home.
Alex Johnson led the Flyers with 26 points, while Philip Jones came up with 14 points.
East Side is now 4-1, while the Stars go to 4-1.
LITCHFIELD 55, PIASA SOUTHWESTERN 28: Litchfield led all the way in the game, jumping to a 30-14 halftime lead in seeing off Southwestern at home.
Reed Campbell led the Piasa Birds with nine points, while Trenton Brackett had six points.
The Purple Panthers are now 4-3, while Southwestern goes to 1-7.
CALHOUN 55, CARROLLTON 53 (OT): It was a close game at the White Hall North Greene tournament final, with the score tied after regulation 48-48. Calhoun outscored Carrollton in overtime 7-5 to take the championship.
Easton Wallendorf led the way for the Warriors with 19 points, while Lane Eilerman scored 16 points.
The Hawks were led by Andrew Price's 17 points, with both Buddy Holmes and Carter Randolph hitting for 13 points each.
Calhoun is now 3-0, while Carrollton goes to 4-2.
GREENFIELD NORTHWESTERN 63, WHITE HALL NORTH GREENE 52: In the consolation final, Greenfield led at the half 34-14, then held off a third quarter comeback by North Greene to win the consolation championship.
Carter Murphy led the Tigers with 21 points, while Rimbey White had 13 points, and Dean Lancaster hit for 11 points. The Spartans were led by 22 points from Luke Farris, while Jase Cohen had 15 points, and Porter Dossett scored 11 points.
Greenfield is now 3-2, while North Greene is 1-4.
In the third-place game, Franklin South County defeated Griggsville-Perry 58-56 in overtime.
Calhoun placed three players on the all tournament team in Eilerman, Jack Zipprich, and Blake Nolte, Carrolton had two players on the team, with Charlie Stumpf and Randolph, South County placed Caiden Colwell and Leo Bergschneider, North Greene put Farris on the team, and Griggsville-Perry had Levi Barnes named to the team.
In other games played on Friday, Marquette Catholic won over Belleville Althoff Catholic 47-43, New Athens defeated Steeleville 73-65, Triad got past Civic Memorial 52-36, Sparta defeated Carlyle 62-47, Alton won at Edwardsville 73-44, Trenton Wesclin won over Red Bud 48-45, Staunton turned back Pana 66-29, Belleville West upended Belleville East 57-47, Jersey won at home over Highland 47-34, Marion defeated Breese Mater Dei Catholic 50-45, and Freeburg won at East Alton-Wood River 52-29.

THURSDAY'S RESULTS
O'FALLON 60, COLLINSVILLE 20: In a game played Thursday night at Vergil Fletcher Gym, O'Fallon broke open a close 11-10 first-quarter lead by outscoring Collinsville the rest of the way 49-10, shutting out the Kahoks in the final quarter 11-0 in taking the Southwestern Conference win.
Josie Christopher led the Panthers with 22 points, while Jocelyn Mitchell added 10 points. Both Karley Call and Karly VanDyke led the Kahoks with five points each, while Darlanna Morris added four points.
O'Fallon is now 5-3, while Collinsville goes to 1-7.
BELLEVILLE ALTHOFF CATHOLIC 48, MARYVILLE CHRISTIAN 35: Althoff extended a 24-7 halftime lead into a Gateway Metro Conference win at the Glenn Schott Center.
Gabby Dalke led the Crusaders with 17 points, while Reece Diistler added 15 points.
Althoff goes to 4-5, while the Lions are now 4-4.
SALEM 48, COLUMBIA 45: In a game in the Mississippi Division of the Cahokia Conference, Salem led at halftime 27-21, then held off Columbia to win at Columbia's gym.
Addison Dewilde led the Eagles with 17 points, while Kinley Jary came up with 11 points.
The Wildcats are now 7-3, while Columbia is now 4-4.
BELLEVILLE EAST 68. BELLEVILLE WEST 20: In a Battle of Belleville game at West's gym, East had little trouble in taking the Southwestern Conference win.
Hailey Gray was the Lancers' top scorer with 17 points, while Ramiyah Young had 13 points, and both Sophia Cooper and DeAsia Willis scored 10 points each.
East is now 7-0, while the Maroons go to 0-6.
In other games played on the Thursday schedule, Freeburg won over East Alton-Wood River 57-31, Okawville routed Chester 79-38, and Centralia defeated Cahokia 68-19.
FRIDAY'S RESULTS
HIGHLAND 64, JERSEY 44: In a Mississippi Valley Conference game, Highland spotted Jersey an 11-9 first-quarter lead, then proceeded to outscore the Panthers 53-33 the rest of the way to take the win at Havens Gym.
Jordan Bircher had a big game for the Bulldogs with 26 points, while Sophie Schroeder came up with 16 points. Jersey was led by 25 points from Meredith Gray, with Anna Kribs adding on six points.
Highland is now 5-5, while the Panthers go to 1-4.
In Friday's other results, Belleville East went to 8-0 on the season with a 77-66 home win over St. Louis Cardinal Ritter College Prep Catholic, dealing the Lions their first loss of the season, Belleville Althoff Catholic won at home over Metro-East Lutheran 53-19, Triad got past Civic Memorial 57-54, Mascoutah edged Waterloo 32-31, and Waterloo Gibault Catholic got past Maryville Christian on the road 50-42.
BOYS WRESTLING
In a triangular meet at the William "Red" Schmitt Wrestling Complex in Granite City, the Warriors split their two meets, winning over O'Fallon 45-25, but losing to Roxana 49-28.

FATHER MCGIVNEY CATHOLIC 64, HILLSBORO 30: In the first game of the Raymond Lincolnwood Shootout, McGivney had little trouble in defeating Hillsboro.
Owen Kolesa led the way for the Griffins with 21 points, while Chase Jansen added on 16 points.
McGivney is now 7-2, while the Hilltoppers go to 4-4.
CARLINVILLE 49, METRO-EAST LUTHERAN 37: Metro-East led at halftime 19-18, but Carlinville outscored MELHS 30-18 in the second half to win in the Lincolnwood shootout.
Tristan Thompson led the Cavaliers with 20 points, while Tate Duckles had 14 points, and Sawyer Smith scored 13 points.
Carlinville is now 3-2, while the Knights go to 1-6.
In other games on Saturday, Trenton Wesclin won over 70-30, Breese Mater Dei Catholic defeated Pinckneyville 65-63. and East St. Louis played a complete game in defeating East Point, Ga. Tri-Cities 89-59 in the Carbondale Shootout.
GIRLS BASKETBALL
GRANITE CITY 57, FATHER MCGIVNEY CATHOLIC 48: Granite City outscored McGivney in the second quarter 24-4, and went on to win at Granite City Memorial Gym.
Jailynn Rae Woods led the Warriors with 15 points, while both Malone Grady and Taliyah Sykes both scored 13 points. The Griffins were led by Peyton Ellis and Claire Wade, who both scored eight points each, while Alexa Jones, Carly McElroy, Emerson McGaughey, Zoie Oller, and Elle Willenborg all had six points apiece.
Granite is now 5-2, while McGivney goes to 7-2.
In two other games on the Saturday slate, Freeburg got past Okawville 54-48, and O'Fallon defeated Henderson, Ky. Henderson County 55-40 in a shootout at Paducah, Ky. McCracken County High School.
