The Eagles used four first-half goals to earn their first win of the 2026 season, improving to 1-1 overall.

CM broke the tie exactly two minutes into the game when Landree Wallace found the back of the net. Allie Kamp doubled that lead in the 11th minute, being the one to touch it last after a mad scramble from a corner kick.

Abby Brueckner scored five minutes later in the 16th minute, and CM’s final goal came in the 20th minute when Sara Aiello made a nice heads-up play, crashing the net on a long freekick attempt from Delaney Griffin, cashing in on the rebound and making it 4-0.

Griffin recorded two assists. Wallace also had a helper. Bryleigh Marshall earned the shutout.


TRIAD 8, HIGHLAND 0

The Triad Knights opened their final Mississippi Valley Conference campaign on the right foot, dominating the Highland Bulldogs at home.

Triad got two goals from London Looby and Peyton Cissell. Kamryn Bohnenstiehl, Izzy Hancock, Averi Moore, and Lilly Zobrist each scored as well.

Moore also had two assists. Zobrist, Mackenzie McMillan, Shirley Wilder, and Stella Yank also had helpers.

Payton Hartmann and Lauren Koberna split the shutout.

The Knights improve to 1-1-1. Highland falls to 2-1.


ROXANA 7, WOOD RIVER 0

The Shells made easy work of their crosstown rivals Monday afternoon to improve to 2-1 on the season.

Gianna Stassi netted a hattrick, Sophia Powers scored twice, and Karsyn Kamp and Mia Skinner also found the back of the net.

Nova Shaw recorded two assists. Stassi, Kamp, Skinner, Savannah Cline, and Madison Dixon also recorded one assist each.

Sidney Ufert recorded Roxana’s first shutout of the season.


COLLINSVILLE 5, GIBAULT 0

The Kahoks used five different goal scorers to take down Waterloo Gibault Catholic, scoring three in the first half and twice more in the second.

Goals came from Allison Barrera, Karley Call, Peyton Duhadway, Reese Kaufman, and Layla Wilkerson. Call also had a couple of assists.

Duhadway also had a helper, as did Wilkerson and Quinn Hall.

Collinsville split the shutout between Paige Bohnemeier and Karly VanDyke.

The Kahoks are now 2-0 and Gibault was handed its first loss to fall to 3-1.
