"Every successful campaign begins with grassroots efforts - neighbors talking to neighbors, volunteers giving their time, and citizens stepping up to make a difference," said Senator Harriss. "Public service starts at the local level, and I'm excited to work with interns who share a passion for serving their communities. Together, we're building the foundation needed to continue delivering results for the Metro East and earn the opportunity to keep fighting for our region in Springfield."
