EAST ALTON — The EAWR/Roxana hockey team fell 4-2 to O’Fallon Monday night, Dec. 22, 2025, at East Alton Ice Arena in a closely contested matchup.

Neither team scored in the first period, but EAWR/Roxana opened the scoring early in the second period when Owen Timmins netted a goal with 12:30 remaining.

O’Fallon responded with two goals, as Abram Turner scored at 10:06 and Scott Stoelzle added another at 6:14, giving O’Fallon a 2-1 lead.

Timmins tied the game for EAWR/Roxana with his second goal of the night at 2:01 left in the second period.

However, O’Fallon controlled the third period, scoring twice to secure the win. Luke Shelton scored the go-ahead goal with 1:16 remaining, followed by an insurance goal from Xavier Williams with just three seconds left on the clock.
